Who am I?

Hi, I’m Christine — a front-end developer and designer with a background in animation and digital art.

I currently work as an IT Consultant at FDM, placed with Westpac, where I focus on data systems. But my path here wasn’t straight: I started out in visual storytelling, studying animation at UTS and working as a digital matte painter and concept artist at Cutting Edge. I contributed to films like Ticket to Paradise, Halloween Ends, and The Pope's Exorcist, along with TV series like Black Snow and Home and Away. (Here’s my old art portfolio if you're curious.)

Over time, I found myself drawn to code — not just for its logic, but for its creative potential. I wanted to build things that felt personal, emotional, and alive.

This site is where those two worlds meet: storytelling and structure. I’m exploring how interfaces can become places — how tools can invite reflection, and how code can be used to shape gentle, resonant experiences.

I think of myself as a gardener–engineer: planting experiences with care, tending their structure, and letting them bloom with meaning.

If anything here lingers with you, I’d love to hear from you.

Thanks for wandering through.
